AdWeek: Banner Advertising Is Getting Beefed Up

IMG_8942I'm happy to share one of the best articles I've seen on our industry since AdBean launched.  Brian Morrissey's article in Adweek is a major signal to the advertising world that online display advertising is getting a new look industry-wide.  The market having been dominated by search for so long means that some very classic advertising thinking is retruning to the channel:  As Zach Coelius, CEO of Triggit, a demand-side provider in the exchange market says:
Advertising is a matching problem.  For every user and moment, there's a perfect advertisement. In search, Google solved that matching problem because the user types in what they're looking for. In display, that matching comes from data.

Exactly.  Making those perfect display ads for every user and every moment needs an awesome technology platform for easy creative, flexible interactive and efficient campaign management.

I can think of one that I'd suggest ;)

Yeah, it's scary how accurate google can be at times. But being no. 1 demands that they are accurate and couldn't be anything else.
